When I came home, Lucy woke up to ask on the ISP-transfer progress:
" Has HamsterTracker.com been (finally) transferred to another ISP? " - Lucy
So I asked Lucy to come out,
to enjoy a snack (or two),
while I explain it all:
" Please tell me... <chompin'sound> ... I wanna know " - Lucy
[ Please note: Lucy's relaxed lean against the cage-wall, while chompin' ]
Ok; the current registrar (who I try to move FROM) has replied today after I submitted
another question about the transfer:
The (to English translated) reply was:
" ... therefore I transferred your request again to the appropriate department"
Please note the use of the word: " again " !
( B.t.w. the department referred to, we have NEVER received a response from )
It's almost like saying: "We resolved your problem, by disposing it in the trashcan!"
We here at HamsterTracker™ just can't believe that this is one month (minus 4 days)
[ July 18th was the first request ], since we started this!
" Stop it Dude, I do SO NOT want to hear that! " - Lucy
After this response, I faxed the paper-transfer,
to my new registrar.
All filled out, together with a foto-copy of my passport!
As I understand, this fax is used by my new registrar,
to send to the " Internet God " !!! ;
which will (hopefully) accept the transfer as legally requested by HamsterTracker.com!
( whether my current registrar cooperates or not. )
The floatin' arrow (one of the last few I have),
points to the papers, faxed today!!! - HamsterTracker™
This process, is presumably going to take 5 days to process,
then the DNS servers are swiched, and HamsterTracker.com
could then take 7 days for the DNS-servers worldwide,
to accept this modification.
So (hopefully) with in two weeks, HamsterTracker.com
is served from another place. (Not that YOU would notice a difference,
maybe slightly during the transfer,
but you will not have to change a bookmark or anything!!!)
How COOL is that?
[ We at HamsterTracker™ try to look out for our HamsterTracker™-Dude(ttes) ! ]
To Be Continued... (hopefully not that long)
