Ever since starting trackin' my hamster, I've NEVER asked for professional help,
Today I sadly must;
HamsterTracker.com is in serious trouble,
the current host (Registrar) has a so called 'Fair Use Policy' of 10 Gb website traffic a month.
Because this is not sufficient, HamsterTracker generates a lot more per month,
I paid a new provider (quite a lot) to have it hosted there (1000 Gb website traffic is allowed there!)
( Don't be surprised if HamsterTracker.com goes offline, due to the 10 Gb limit! )
So I got the 'transfer key' from my original Registrar,
and I tried to transfer it for the first time more than three weeks ago...
This wasn't successfull, due to improper DNS registration (this is the responsibility of of the current Registrar,
which I sadly have NO control over).
So these last three weeks I've been mailing, asking to, (please,) resolve this.
Unfortunately without success!
I get responses like: 'We are working on it'
and Your request has been transferred to the Technical Department'.
These responses have been without any follow ups!
So I've made an expensive phone call, in an effort to obtain legal advise...
As it seems, according to Dutch Law, this is not handled correctly...
When I told Lucy, she went bezerk... (like me)...
" Isn't there a lawyer out there,
that knows about Dutch Consumer-Laws,
as well as ISP problems? " - Lucy
Funny that Lucy asks, 'cause I am asking myself the same thing.
If you are an expert on Dutch Consumer-Laws AND know a bit about ISP troubles,
AND you're willing on helping keeping HamsterTracker.com online,
(and you don't really charge over the top, [hoping that a little money plus some pine-seeds will suffice...] )
Please feel free to contact me at Peacoque.labs (at) iae. nl!
Thank you!

Today I received the most wonderfull email from my favorite 'Freestyle Funk DJ': DJ Quincy Jointz.
I am privileged to have Quincy as one of my foreign friends,
and I am astonished and amused by the work he does with Funk music.
It was a great surprise, back in Thursday, December 8, 2005 when his first child Lucy was born.
Today we got the message of the birth of his son; BEN!
Ofcourse I couldn't wait to tell Lucy
" WOW! I am astonished!
Call him Dude! " - Lucy
That's what I did:
Not haven spoken to DJ Quincy ever before,
I just dailed the (long distance) number....
After ringing a couple of times,
it got answered!
I was trying to talk in German (which I can do a little bit) and in English,
while my head was thinking in Dutch. (It can be hard being European ;-)
After a few seconds, I AM talking to my favorite DJ!!! you know,
I gathered my thoughts, and had a great conversation, expressing congratulations,
confirmed that Lucy- and Ben's Mom is doing fine and hearing Lucy in the background,
as well as Daddy... He's doing great also.
While talking (2 minutes and 19 seconds) on the phone, Lucy demanded attention:
" Let me talk to him... PLEEEEEEEEEASE ...
I wanna say,
CONGRATULATIONS too!
" - Lucy
HamsterTracker™ shouts to Ben and family!
It's awesome we've spoken on this very special day!
