I have been noticing Mr. & Mrs. Blackbird, in the backyard.


They are really busy,
flying in and out all the time...

I shot the next picture, with a streched arm, standing away as far as possible,
slowly moving in with my (preset) camera, aiming as best as I could, click & get out ...

HamsterTracker™-Squatters update
Two weeks ago (March 26 2008, Day 272), I introduced you all
to the Blackbird family.


Last week (April third), we had a quick checkup:

I've seen Mr. Blackbird doing his stuff all the time;
bringing in fresh worms for the Mrs.


So today I went out for the weekly photograph,
hoping to find some hatched eggs...


Instead we said hello to Mrs. Blackbird again:

I still don't know if the young ones have hatched.
We'll keep you posted, as futher developments evolve!

Monday, chores day...
Lucy's bedroom does need a good cleaning.
There a lots of droppings and her bedroom is pretty damp:

HamsterTracker™-Regulars simply KNOW that, when cleaning the place,
a lot of pillow treats are spread, as well as the
(obligatory) fresh, new and free Vitakraft Kräcker.

Hamster fact:
I do leave some hamster-droppings in Lucy's cage,
because hamsters can't digest all their nutrients from their food,
in one go (like we fortunately can :-)
therefore hamsters (need to) eat their droppings to get their essentials.
